What is Safer S+ Spaces?
I started the *Safer S+ Spaces* initiative in 2023 (launched end of 2024) in response to ongoing accounts of consent incidents and accidents in sex-positive spaces, with little by way of holding or process for those who experienced harm or for those identified or accused of causing harm.

Our Intention & Our Vision
Our intention is to normalise difficult conversations to support learning, growth and connection, and in so doing create spaces inhospitable to predators and predatory behaviour.
Our vision is of a community where consent accidents and boundary violations can be discussed openly with an agenda of learning and transformative justice.
We believe in Gabor Maté’s assertion that “Safety is not the absence of threat. It is the presence of connection.”
